I found this place as it did look nice and the area was quiet. I read reviews talking about services slow and stuff like that but doesn't matter where you go.. it is not always well organized neither fast services but that's the way it is ... As far as it concerns me, the staff was efficient, and I asked... More

Siem Reap has lots of good restaurants - this is not one of them! We ate here as a family of four. Between us we chose three pasta dishes and a pizza - the pizza was the best of the lot. We had arrabiata, basic tomato pasta and puttanesca for the pasta dishes and the arrabiata and tomato pasta both... More

I've read and heard really mixed reviews of this place, and hadn't gone, despite living in Siem Reap for many months. I took my parents here when they visited, and it was really very good indeed. The owner (Pascal?) was a bit distant, but is obviously passionate about his food - as soon as you ask him a question he... More

The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious ! One of the best restaurant close to Pub Street ! The french owner was very helpful and the menu really original ! I've loved it ! More expensive than the other one but really different also. More

I went there recently with my wife and it was one of the best restaurants in town. Broad and interesting menu. We had different choices for starters and main courses and every single plate was excellent. Prices were very reasonable for that quality of food. I don't drink wine but my wife assures me that the wine selection is also... More

The Samot is no more, it has gone back to its previous incarnation of Trattoria. Service is as unorganized as ever. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly busy and we were asked to move tables twice as more people arrived. My wife ordered a glass of Bellagio, which at USD 5.00 was overpriced and took 25 minutes to arrive.... More

I'd heard good things about Samot's and really wanted to like it. The staff were great and had been trained to good restaurant standards, but the food was all over the place. The starters were fair; marinated tuna and interesting fresh herbs, crab with poached egg and a yoghurt dressing was fine, though served awkwardly. A main of pasta alla... More

I just go back to California after a short stay in Asia. My friend Andy Banner who lives in Siem Reap invited me to eat at this place. Although it's a small restaurant, you feel really cozy and welcome. I'm a creative person reason why I like restaurants that think out of the boundry. The chef actually gives you personal service...
