A bit mixed! I'd passed Chamkar a few times and decided to try it because it's different from a lot of the restaurants in Siem Reap. It's a tiny restaurant parallel to Pub Street and, like a plethora of others, it has a few outdoor tables. I loved the wedding dip served with bread, which had a lightly curried peanut...

Food here was good but nothing memorable. I would probably try a different place than eat here again. It did have good veg options.

That said, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chamkar to anyone. The amount of love and care that goes into each dish here means it takes a bit longer, but it also means it's absolutely delicious. Thanks to TripAdvisor for this awesome recommendation! The food at Chamkar is excellent and very reasonably priced. The wedding dip appetizer is delicious. It was so good that we came back again the next day. We had some of the best meals on our trip here.

I'm a person who believes vegetarian is an old Indian word for BAD hunter, and even I loved this place. Its really pretty, and the food is full of subtle flavors. And if you're only in Cambodia for a few days and not used to the heat, you really don't want a heavy meat filled meal anyway.

The food was delicious....we were looking for something flavoursome and healthy and this restaurant was it. Great vegetarian food, good prices, nice wine and lovely atmosphere!! Can't wait to try more from the menu next time we're in Siem Reap
