Description: Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. The restaurant, resurrected from an uncertain future in 1997 by the combined efforts of the Coppola & Bushar families, has since reclaimed its spot among the favorite dining locations in the Atlantic City area.

What a great place to relax during happy hour & enjoy the pub fare! As a guest at the Colonial Inn, I was able to leisurely wonder over & indulge on the delicious soups, appetizers & salads that are featured on their menu. The staff & patrons made for a delightful experience. Top notch establishment! More

Nice place - nice view - good service. Special going on pre-fix menu for $30./3 courses. We didn't use this - the food was good nonetheless. More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and the added benefit of being there on jazz night. A lovely tavern/restaurant with historic charm and very good food! fun evening, and my sometimes picky kids liked it too! More

We had a great late night dinner at the Smithville Inn. Our waiter was outstanding and helped us with ordering the perfect meal. I had the Fillet Mignon with the mushroom compote & scalloped potatoes-delicious. My husband had the stuffed chicken with mushrooms and yukon mashed potatoes- amazing! The bread here is also very good and made fresh every day.... More

We hadn't been to the Smithville Inn inyears. We decided it was time and went for lunch on a rainy January day. The entrance was warm and cozy as usual and we were greeted by a well ventilated wood fire, We were disappointed to learn that the dining room was closed, but with the few customers, the two tap room... We wanted to get into the holiday spirit with our friends on Black Friday. After walking around the shops we went to the Smithville Inn for a late lunch. We arrived at 1:30 pm and we were told there was a half hour wait. No problem. We went to the bar and had a holiday drink. Steph took care of... More

The Smithville Inn provides a traditional meal in a lovely setting. it is definitely the place to stop when you visit the historic town of Smithville. Our last visit was for lunch when we went to the town for a relaxing afternoon. We timed our visit for after 1 p.m. when the tour groups have mostly cleared out. After a... More

I just returned from a trip to Atlantic City New Jersey, where I stopped to ear at the Smithville Inn, on 8/17/2011. I have eaten at the Smithville Inn over the year starting back in 1963 when Fred & Ethel Noyes were the owners. Unfortunately the menu, food and service are not the same. The menu seems to be in...
