There are few places in town always open, but Fleetwood is one. It can be rough on the edges and sometimes the patrons are on the odd side, but they have great diner food. Personally, I'm a fan of the chicken strips and chicken fingers.

Seedy diner atmosphere, if you like that. I expected great food but was disappointed.

A little strange looking - BUT - don't let that stop you. Pet friendly outside summer dining. Wonderful staff . Hint Get the hippie giro hash with an extra egg - divine!!

This is just what it says -- a diner -- but it is a cramped diner, and the food is fine, nothing special. Still, we often return.

For an authentic Ann Arbor experience, visit the Fleetwood Diner on a snowy morning before 8:00 a.m. You will see all kinds of characters--some of them have been there all night, and the foul-mouthed waitress is one of a kind. I was in Ann Arbor for a wedding, looking for the 'local' breakfast diner, not a chain. The Fleetwood Diner is small, old, and a place not to miss! You better get there before the college kids crawl out of bed, because the place gets busy! They have a great breakfast menu, very happy that we found the place!

I discovered this place before a Michigan game. I was hungry and it was the first place we found. Looks kind of dirty from the outside and in, but the food was good. You really can't screw up breakfast though, I probably wouldn't eat here for any other meal.

This is an interesting place. It is very small, even for a diner. It is a block back from the main drag in Ann Arbor and has been there since 1949. We ate breakfast there one morning and were delighted. The atmosphere is what you would expect in an old diner, with memorabilia on the walls. The menu was certainly...
