Frita Batidos is a treat. It's more expensive than what you'd generally pay for a sandwich and drink. But, that's why it's a treat. It's not the typical "sandwich and drink" in that the ingredients are of quality and creatively used. The blend of flavors is great. My husband and I both had the chorizo frita and would get a... The food and drinks here are excellent! My only compliant is the amount of grease on the food and the feeling I have when I am finished eating...but after you have dined here you come to expect that. Will always be a fan of the drinks...delicious!

This is a very strange restaurat but the food is good. You order off a wall menu that is very confusing. My suggestion is that you order a fritas of your choice "loco" style. It adds lots of flavors and is very, very good. Service is "OK", but the very tasty food pushes this into the 4 star area.

Who would you think you'd find Cuban street food served in downtown Ann Arbor. This place is unique as it does exactly what you would expect of a fine dining experience scaled down to fix both the space, food quality and your budget. Great to have fresh lemonade served in a plastic bag. Way cool and delicious. Each of the... More

A little sunshine and a little imagination is all you will need to feel the Miami Cuban-ish vibe. We stumbled upon this place by accident and were very pleasantly surprised. There were throngs of people spilled out on the sidewalk and everyone said it is worth the wait. We walked in, picked up menu and took our place in line... More

After spending time on Trip Advisor and Yelp looking for a place to eat in Ann Arbor, I settled on Frita Batidos. I was alone on a business trip and couldn't decide if I wanted to sit at a large picnic table with a bunch of college students. Added to that was the fact that I wasn't very hungary after... More

This food was tasty and the mango drink was heavenly. The staff were kind and patient as we cared for my 15 month old granddaughter. They provided a cute and secure seat that fastened on the table edge.

My daughter selected Frita Batidos when I made a quick visit to Ann Arbor recently. She told me that it was recommended by a number of her friends and wanted to try it. It has a clean, contemporary feel with picnic tables for seating. You place your order for food and beverages at the counter and then are served at... More

Great, fresh food. No fuss, plenty of muss with sauces and sides. A delicious spot to visit again and again!

I absolutely loved this place! Was taken here for dinner with relatives, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very laid back, kinda casual-chic feel to it. It is clean and staffed with friendly people who stopped to chat with us. It is a tiny place, so it was a bit busy, but is was cool to sit next to... More
