We live in Dubai and every time we feel like celebrating a good day with the family we go to Ravi. Ravi in unpretentious and cheap, the food is always top quality, the variety and finesse of the north Indian/pakistani spices add a new experience every time. The The public in Ravi is also a very special type of westerner:... More

I can't recommend this place enough, the food is as tasty as it can be. It is where the locals enjoy Pakistani food, you can see Arabs, Europeans, American and Pakistanis enjoy their food, from my years there I recommend mutton peshawri, behari kebab, chicken hamdi, qeema Nan and maghez. More

If you want great Indian food, don't care about your surroundings, and don't want a really long leisurely meal then go to Ravi's. We had a huge salad, rice, aloo nan ( great), chicken tikka, Dahl, paneer masala ( gorgeous) and a big bottle of water for less than £10. Tasty clean food, will certainly go every time we are... OK...so Ravi's is tucked away in one of the less glamorous neighbourhoods of Dubai (Satwa). There's lots of atmosphere in Satwa - and lots of bargains to be had on things like cookware and fabrics. But don't wait for any reason other than the terrific food to make the journey to Ravi's. The 'family' eating area is what we'd call... More

Ravis has been attracting a varied International clientele for more than 35 years. Chicken Tikka, kidney and brain masala ,all are good, fresh and beautifully cooked. Share a table outside and enjoy the atmosphere of Satwa. More

I prefer to eat in rather than take away. Better to eat this food hot at the table. The mutton dishes are really good. Ask for mildly spiced food or it may get too spicy. Recommend you go in a group of 4 to 6 people so that you can share. More
