The food, the coffee, the service was outstanding. Great place to start the day. We had breakfast there most mornings, but decided that we should check out other breakfast options as suggested in both our guide book and online.... but all came in second in comparison. It has great atmosphere, quaint decor, with food cooked fresh each day. The coffee... More

After enjoying all kinds of activities in Vietnam and Laos, finding people to be invariable friendly and helpful, this was suprisingly horrible! We went in for breakfast and asked for coffee, but were told it was not available due to an electric outage. That was a little surprising, because every other food vendor I saw had gas and or charcoal.... More

Excellent cafe in a perfect location overlooking the temple. Open early with freshly baked croissants and other pastries to die for. Very relaxed atmosphere - easy to pass afternoons lounging here. More

Nice place for breakfast: real French pastries, as well as the standard egg or muesli options. Offers a range of coffee and tea options. Old-school decor makes it feel like you've been transported back half a century. More

We were walking around the area for few days till we finally found this place that suggested to have the best croissant around outside of France. And we are not disappointed. The Croissant was excellent, along with Baguette and Rye bread...we went back couple times to get some bread even though our hotel provide excellent breakfast buffet for us. We... More

Nice little cafe with service that varies depending on who is working the counter. If it's one of the women, service varies from good to very good. If it's the guy, he can be a little gruff. No matter, the bakery goods are delicious and go very well with the coffee. The cafe is across from one of the wats... More

After big disappointment with Joma cafe, here comes the live-saver when I needed good coffee and pastry. The items I tried are small hard rolls, croissants and danishes. They all are decent. I ordered the espresso and thank god, they use good beans. The ambiance is nice and quiet. I suggest every traveler should come here instead of touristy Joma... More

Coffee was adequate and the breakfast not to bad. Not in the same league as le banneton cafe in Vientiane. The bread however was the best we found in Lao. More
