i didn't try meal, however i ordered a bottle of wine there. the view from sala cafe was nice. it would be better that the restaurant has more kinds of wines.
Loved the deserts, the comfy chairs, good service and chllled wine! Dropped by twice, didn't have any main courses (next time) but indulged in the chocolate mousse, which was equally as good as the the one served at pricier L'Elephant
We had our last meal in LP here and wish we had discovered it sooner. Lovely outlook over the Nam Khan River and the service was excellent. We sat on the terrace but you can also sit on the riverside. Beautiful fresh food and very reasonable. Fruit Shakes were great. Nice mix of French and Laos food..the rice paper rolls... More
This charming spot on the river side gives a very relaying and cooling spot. The menu offers both European as well as Lao/Thai dishes. The staff does speak English though the usual re-confirmation of the order, is encouraged. .
This Cafe/Restaurant is overlooking the Nam Khan river with tables on a terrace or on the riverside curb opposite the street where it is situated. The place is nice and quiet, with nice shade during the hot hours of the day. The drinks are good especially the fruit shakes and the lunch menu, which we tried several of the items... More
This place is perfection in eating out. Set in the most beautiful city in SE Asia, their fairly short menu, French overall, has exquisite dishes from Vietnam, Laos and Thailand as well. The manager is French and his Laos staff are very professional and utterly charming. You can sit inside the restaurant, outside on the terrace or across the road... More
It's a very beautiful and peaceful place, directly at the Nam Khan river, just a little off from the main action. Very friendly and attentive service, sophisticated ambience and very reasonable prices for refined drinks and a good mix of European and Laotian dishes. You can choose between two terraces – both provide for a nice cocktail or more. A... More
Had a cognac and coffee here every night of our 4 night stay in Luang Prabang, ate lunch here most days too - finally and with regret we ate our last dinner in LP here. The view over the river is good, staff attentive, prices fair, and the food excellent. Best dish - a Basque Chicken casserole.
I have been several time during my journey at this small restaurant, the food is very good, lao, thai, vietnamese and even french as the owner is french. The service is nice and fast, the staff very friendly. The terrasse is very peacfull with nice view on the namkhan river. I recommend this place if you want to have a... More
