This is a great restaurant, but gets really busy with group tours at lunch times. Their Burmese curries are some of the best in Mandalay & the service is fast & friendly. It is a handy place for dinner if you want to go to Mintha or the marionette theatres later.

I can't understand other reviews on here that are less than enthusiastic. We enjoyed a 4-course meal, all of it really superb, with wonderful service, at a pleasant table, for the equivalent of about £7 each (without drinks). The presence of a couple of large groups didn't adversely affect the service. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Compared with other places in Burma this was not so great. The beer was more expensive, as was the rice, and the green tea, which is often free in other places cost 1,000kyat. Food was okay, but not brilliant. Didn't go back the following night.

Place was packed with tour buses but we were given a seat very quickly and efficiently. Menu has many choices. Spring rolls were good but chicken curry was bland and tasteless. The beef and black pepper was much better and the rice perfect. Beers were not cold . Service was good and waiters very attentive and helpful despite the large... More

A Little Bit of Mandalay is an airy outdoor restaurant catering to the tourist trade. When you see an option on the menu for "bottled-water ice cubes" you know the restaurant knows its clientele, and if you are trying to avoid getting sick you’ll probably fare better here than at most restaurants in the country. That said, the food was... More

Our tour group of 24 had a pleasant dinner here with excellent service. The food was fresh and well prepared: chicken, beef, and vegetable curries; broccoli with sesame oil; long bean salad; white steamed rice; bean cake pastry for dessert. The covered dining room was open on all sides, but quiet from the street noise. Location can't be beat: within... More

We were looking for a place for dinner nearby the dance theatre and as the Green Elephant across the road was full we ended up here. The setting is quite nice but overall we found this to be a tourist trap. The service is a bit pretentious, the food quite bland (we had the taster menu of 'authentic' Myanmar food)... More

Overall, decent food&drinks and decent service. Do recommend without doubt. Much more clean compared to many other restaurants. Dishes with red curry sauce especially delicious.

This restaurant serves excellent Myanmar food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is settled in a very quiet area in busy Mandalay in a nice garden. The staff is very friendly, service is efficient and fast. Prices seem slightly higher than at “Green Elephant” which is around the corner.
