Small and a bit noisy, the food and the service was excellent. The limited menu covers a wide range of tastes and everything is beautifully served. Some items come in half servings which is a nice idea.

I traveled to Nantucket for a special birthday celebration and a friend recommended Black Eyed Susan's. I loved the casual, yet sophisticated atmosphere. The food was delicious! Enjoyed our recent breakfast/brunch at Black-Eyed Susan's. be aware that the restaurant is small so you will likely have to wait (even pre-season). Please note that it is cash only too. I had the Portugese scramble, which was to die for. My husband really enjoyed the pancakes. I would definitely recommend this spot & hope to pay it a return...

Really nice spot with great, healthy and fresh food. A definite if you are looking for a spot that isn't over priced (like most of the island can be) and good food.

Delicious way to start the day, rain or shine. A small, cozy atmosphere with a big wakeup for your tastebuds. Good stuff!

The food was excellent and not too heavy, which is some doing given the preponderance of rich pasta and classic american dishes.
Service was very prompt and friendly without too much chatter and price was reasonable given...
