Small and a bit noisy, the food and the service was excellent. The limited menu covers a wide range of tastes and everything is beautifully served. Some items come in half servings which is a nice idea.

I traveled to Nantucket for a special birthday celebration and a friend recommended Black Eyed Susan's. I loved the casual, yet sophisticated atmosphere. The food was delicious! I am still dreaming about the salmon with kumquat and onion relish with potatoes. Deeelish! BYOB is always a good thing as well! The ceasar salad was perfectly crisp and the dressing was... More

Enjoyed our recent breakfast/brunch at Black-Eyed Susan's. be aware that the restaurant is small so you will likely have to wait (even pre-season). Please note that it is cash only too. I had the Portugese scramble, which was to die for. My husband really enjoyed the pancakes. I would definitely recommend this spot & hope to pay it a return... More

Really nice spot with great, healthy and fresh food. A definite if you are looking for a spot that isn't over priced (like most of the island can be) and good food.

Incredible to think this great restaurant is 20 years old but it is and it hasn't lost a step. The menu is small and excellent, the service is great. And the fact that you BYOB makes up for the fact that it's cash only

Delicious way to start the day, rain or shine. A small, cozy atmosphere with a big wakeup for your tastebuds. Good stuff!

Had the best breakfast here. Our waiter was fantastic and very interesting to talk to. Timing is important since there is always a wait but so worth it!

Since most inns can only provide a limited breakfast we visited this restaurant one morning and its offering hit the spot. It wasn't overly expensive and the service was quick.

The small single room kitchen and dining area makes for a packed but lively atmosphere even off season when we visited the Island. The food was excellent and not too heavy, which is some doing given the preponderance of rich pasta and classic american dishes. Service was very prompt and friendly without too much chatter and price was reasonable given... More

We went everyday to Black-Eyed Susan's. The staff were very friendly and very busy! The menu has everything you may wish for breakfast and much more. The only problem is the weight you may put on after eating there too often...
