Take your bikes and stop off here to grab sandwiches to bring to the beaches. A classic. Really miss the original rose hip tea.

Just a short walk or bike ride from Nantucket Town. This is what I call a great Nantucket Day; dress casual, stroll and view the beaches and the homes, and have a relaxed meal outdoors. The sandwiches are all piled with your favorite meat, cheese and extras on the best bread. After lunch walk to the nearby Oldest House and... More

Excellent for sandwiches - but the best thing is the homemade portuguese bread. We buy up a ton every time we go... freeze it if we have to; its so darn good toasted in the morning with some butter. A pretty spot to enjoy a quick picnic - Its one of my fave places for a bite on the Island.

This is a home-style bakery and sandwich shoppe. The Staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for Nantucket. The sandwiches are very good. There is fresh baked breads of many types available and they are all very very good. Ther are plenty of picnic tables on the lawn if you want to eat outside. The location is... More

Not sure if open during the winter, I fear not a summer place but has wonderful 1/2 and whole sandwiches! Should be a stop on the island. In the winter go to Henrys 2.

Number 1 on Nantucket? No! But good sandwiches and a nice outdoor spot (if the weather is good) to eat. My wife and I shared 2 sandwiches, one piled high with salami and provolone on excellent pumpernickel. The second one smoked turkey with Swiss cheese. The bread was great, but the inside a bit bland. Overall a nice experience and... More

In early September, we stopped by here on our way to the beach. I ordered a turkey on pumpernickel. It was a very large but extremely bland sandwich. I wound up tossing half of it out - and I was hungry. If you look at my reviews, you'll see that I'm fair and I rarely give poor reviews. I acknowledge... More

On a nice day, sitting outside at the picnic tables, with a delicious sandwich - this can't be beat. Lots of choices. A half sandwich is very generous. We arrived at 11:30 and in 15 minutes the place was jammed. Obviously, this is the place to go .

An amazing spot for everyone. Enormous sandwiches, but they have half servings which are plenty for most of us. Interesting combinations--my fave: "Sheila's".

We rode our bikes over from our beach day. I had discovered this place from one of the travel shows. Could've been Rachel Ray. Everything was super fresh and plenty of outside space for kids to run around. Very clean and casual. My kids really enjoyed their food. I wish I had stayed longer on the island as I would... More
