The food is adventurous. We had dinner in the dining room near the bar. This room is loud and the loud music in the background adds to the noise levels. Imagine trying for a fine dining experience in a bar atmosphere. This place is not for me.

Three of us went to Dune for drinks and dinner the other night. It was early season, so not very big crowds yet. We sat at the bar. Nice cocktails. Dinner was delicious; very interesting menu creations, and very well executed. Dessert was fantastic. Price was not unreasonable for the location. Service was great. We will go back.

Loved our recent visit to Dune. I loved the beet salad. My husband loved his steak frites. We shared the warm fig bread pudding with maple bacon ice cream. So good! We will definitely recommend Dune to others & hope to be back soon!

Dined with friends over daffodil weekend. We waited 35 min for cocktails & to order. Our waiter was nice, but when we asked about our drinks were told- "I don't make the drinks", instead of an apology for the wait. We have dined there a couple of times, similar poor service..

Dear mmpprr, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent visit to dune over Daffodil weekend. I would like to apologize for our poor service and the servers remarks, they are both unacceptable. I have spoken to both the server and bartender about your experience and I can guarantee that will not happen again. Once... More

My wife and I just ate at Dune and were very impressed by the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant has a lot of charm. My lamb was cooked to perfection and had a very complex flavor profile. We'll definitely be coming back when we're back on island

We love Dune... come to Nantucket at least 3 timers per year, sometimes more and would not miss going to Dune; used to be Brandt Point...no more this is the restaurant!...love the pork belly and also all the 1/2 plates. A very special place for us; just made yet another reservation!

Obviously one of "the" places to go on Nantucket, but not overbearing by any means. Bar and wait staff very down to earth, and the chef paid a visit to the crowd as well. The food was amazing – fresh, quality ingredients, put together with a modern approach. Just thinking about it makes me salivate! I will definitely be back!

Food, plate presentation, decor, ambiance, staff hospitality and wine selection were all top notch. I've run and opened restaurants around the US, so I have a good feel for a well run operation, and this is one of the them! We had 3 of their "small portion" entrees (which were huge), a great bottle of wine and dessert for $100... More
