Description: The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.

It's a bit removed from the rest of the old-town stuff, but still walkable. It's a nice stroll over the bridge to get there. The menu is great, and it all looked good. Seems like you pretty much cant go wrong. There's a decent patio when the weather is nice. I ordered the salad with crab in it. I did... More

Great atmosphere, large menu and great service. No water view but loads of parking. A few outdoor tables. Seafood items we ordered were top notch (crab soup, crab cake sandwich and fresh fish).

Great casual restaurant with a sailing theme. The jerk chicken sandwich with mango chutney is a personal favorite. Don't miss the Smith Island cake!

My wife and I had dinner here during a recent getaway to Annapolis. The food was very well prepared in good serving sizes. We enjoyed crab in three different forms--soup, a smoked appetizer, and with mac and cheese. Nice. The mango ribs special was terrific and a great value, too. The bar sports a decent selection of local drafts. On... More

Hadn't been to Annapolis for a while and on recebnt visit when looking for a lunch spot, we skipped the crords in downtown Annapolis and went over the drawbridge to Eastport to the Boatyard. Perfect. Diverse crowd of Fishermen, boaters, toursists, Naval Academy Midshipmen with their families-- and great and friendly service, good food and reasonable prices for food and... More

There were so many fabulous finds on the restaurants that choosing lunch/brunch was difficult. Went with the Crab Melt which was quite rich - but very tasty.

We walked in for Happy Hour (only seating is at the bar) and left mighty happy! Oysters on the half shell, 99 cents each, fabulous truffle fries, great wings, on and on. We just kept eating, it all tasted so good. Nice selection of drinks on special too. Service is fine, some tourists among the locals. If you are anywhere... More

Had a great lunch and shared some terrific beer at this out-of-the-way restaurant. Make sure to try the Boatyard Lager on draft for one delicious choice of beer out of many. We had the "Scott Kirby" Mahi Special sandwich. (probably, the best fish sandwich ever) Also, try the only Conch Fritters we've found North of Florida! Just like the best... More

I went to the Boatyard for the first time in over 10 years...I love the addition and the place looks great! I tried the Po-boy Oyster appetizer, which were tender and succulent, and my husband tried the Crispy Crab Balls, which were nothing but crab meat and yummy! I also had the soft shell crab sandwich, which I was not... More
