My husband and I had lunch at Galway Bay while passing through Annapolis. Be aware that parking is difficult, street only with meters. We arrived at about 1:00 pm on a Wednesday and the restaurant was not busy. I had the fried oyster appetizer with coleslaw. The coleslaw was vinegar based and very sour. The oysters were fresh and delicious.... More

Try the appetizer fried oyster platter. They were juicy, plump, and tender. They were served with a vinegar coleslaw. That appetizer and a beer is enough for lunch. Yummy

Quality of food was surprisingly excellent. bar and waiting staff friendly and attentive. There was an "Irish" band playing while I was there which further added to the experience and spent a much longer time here than I intended!

Galway is as charming as any pub I was in in Irland. The staff is attentive and pleasant. The management treats their customers like guests in their home. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. If you are in Annapolis wonder over to Maryland Ave for a pint at Galway Bay

We selected this place since they had a gluten-free menu which is very important to my husband who has food allergies. They were very friendly and the waitress even when to the kitchen to double check if the food was prepared as we requested. They have a selection of GF foods and beers. It was a small place but the... More

There are two sides to Galway Bay. The left side is an intimate pub area with cozy little nooks for conversation. Great selection of draft beer (with religiously cleaned taps) and whiskey and whisky for those who want something stronger. The larger, but also intimate, restaurant is in a separate room. In my opinion the food is OK and typical,... More

This place is "our" must...every St Patty's day....but we certainly don't wait for that day to eat there again. The food is excellent. During the holiday's (Thanksgiving/Christmas timeframe), they offer great egg-nog bar menu mixed with various alcohol's. WONDERFUL! I personally love the corned-beef and cabbage while my husband leans to all the other menu items. There is a bar/pub... More

We were disappointed when they ran out of oysters after we had placed our orders. Knowing that in advance would have changed my menu selection. However, I ended up with some good crab cakes and an overall good meal. The server was friendly, professional and attentive as well. So, all in all, I would recommend eating here...I hear the fried... More

Galway Bay is just a few steps away from home and is a great spot to get good food and fun conversation. There are no TVs here but the conversation and music is always enjoyable. The potato pancakes are out of this world and the food and service is always on point.

We decided to try this pub after seeing it on Diners, Drive ins and Dives and we were not disappointed. There is the seating in the pub and there is also a dining room. We opted for the pub. It was comfortable and service was friendly and of course there was Irish music playing! My husband started with fried oysters... More
