Had very high expectations of this restaurant given the strong recommendation and positive reviews. There is nothing better than truly delicious French cuisine. Something amazing about how food turns to art when put in the hands of a trained chef. Les Folies disappointed me on multiple levels. Located in a somewhat off the traditional beaten path of Annapolis. I reserve... More

Slightly pricey but worth it. Great ambiance and service. Food was great. Coq au vin could have used some potatoes and veggies with the entree.

We went to this restaurant as a guest of a friend who had heard about it. The place looks OK but the food, and I mean everyone's was ambitious but did not cut it. Veal scallops with mushroom sauce,..bad. Venizon with rasberry sauce...much to sweet and thick. Bouliabasse passable but that's all. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We have lived in Annapolis for almost 40 years starting back when there were hardly any good restaurants. Gradually over the years a few standards have emerged and Les Folies is one. They pride themselves for offering classic French Bistro food. We have dined at Les Folies more than fifty times and we have never had a bad meal. Most... More

I have been to Les Folies a hand full of time and it has always great. I enjoy the atmosphere, the service is always well executed and friendly, and the food is great. The place is very quite. This place is great for a romantic evening. I would even more, but this says it all. A good restaurant doesn't expansive... More

Like always, we had a great meal at Les Folies. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was quiet for a Sunday night, but that was OK. My wife had the Bronzino, which is presented whole, then expertly fileted tableside. I also had fish with a citrus/ginger sauce and it was very good. The service... More

This restaurant is outside of the historic downtown area, and the exterior for some reason made me think of "la Cage Aux Folles". But, after a disconcerting attempted dining experience the previous evening downtown, close proximity to our hotel won out, and I am so glad it did. The menu had many of the traditional French favorites, combined with a... More

This once lovely restaurant is sinking slowly into a quagmire of inefficiency and poor-quality food. 'Les Folies Brasserie', is by it's name alone, allegedly French themed. Well, any French restaurant that cannot make a good French Onion soup, is, we'll, not really French. A watery soup with a pale chicken broth colored soup and soggy bread at the bottom does... More
