Having been to this restaurant in several different locations around Kiev, I have to admit that this is my favorite of the locations. You pass through an iron gate and into a small courtyard that has outdoor tables during late spring, summer, and fall. I have always found the food to be very good (except maybe the Vietnamese soup--but I... More

Originally founded by a French exile as an honest plonk, steak and frites place, the amateur feel was not out of place with the homey tiny room crammed with odd paintings and brass and a teeny bar. New owners have brought in a plasticated menu with dish photos and branched to larger premises in Kiev, but the original restaurant retains... More

I have read some good recommendations about this place on Tripadviser and we desided to try it. It was not easy to come inside. The entrance was hided, it looked like back yard with a door and curtain...very strange entrance to a caffe...It was nice and warm inside. Menu looked promising with pictures of the dishes. It looked like menu... More

I looked for a spot to eat and warm up that takes credit card, and with their friendly service and good choice of food - it was the right decision to go there. The menu offers various meals from salads, fish, meat, pancakes and a hand ful Ukrainian dishes, that taste sooo nice. The atmosphere is great: it reminds me... More

Visited several times, different seasons, always satisfied. Very friendly staff, excellent food. Comfortable, bistro-style cafe. If you look for the place where you will get all above mentioned and for a good atmosphere to relax and to chat with your friends, family members, or ... whatever - ti is the most right place. Strongly recommend. The staff speaks English and... More

Have visited the one at Andriivskyi Descent, a noisy Sunday in the heart of EURO 2012. Very good food, excellent service, quite small place but worth a visit. Don't forget to order one of the nice crepes for dessert.
