Although you can eat great food in many restaurants in Lima, Jose Antonio deserves a visit if you want a taste of the variety of delicious Peruvian food. Try the buffet which allows you to taste different kinds of tiraditos, ceviches, causa, and many other typical dishes. The place is nice, quiet, located in the Surco neighborhood not far from... Our first day in Lima visiting my sister in-law and brother in-law they took us to Jose Antonia. This is where we had Taco-Taco. This is a great dish and there was nothing to take home from that dish. We also had beef heart and that was really good as well. The service was nothing less that 5 star. The... More

First of all, this place is not even close to be what is used to be 10 years ago. But that doesn't mean that the food is not good, other wise the food is awesome, taste good, ingredients are fresh and great sellection of plates from different regions of Peru. I know that in Lima there is and infinite options... More

I went to Jose Antonio’s with some co-workers this week. This place is in the outer area of Lima. I was looking for some local cuisine and this was the place. The interior is what I would describe a rustic. The service was excellent and best of all the food was delicious. I let my local colleagues order for me... More

I've been here many times, every time I come to Lima it is the first restaurant I visit to have their Lomo Saltado which is superb. Depending on the season, they can get you "canchita" (maze). I was there last sunday night and it was great.

Have visited the restaurant in Lima and enjoyed the food and the service, but recently visited the one at Asia (the beach area south of Lima) and was extremely disappointed. Service was ok, but the food was very mediocre with some dishes almost inedible. Manager was rude and offered no apologies for the bad food.

It´s OK, but I prefer other restaurants to eat peruvian food. I didn't like what I ordered. Staff is gentle though.

The piqueito is a sample of the most famous peruvian dishes and the choclito Jose Antonio is amazing! If you can only choose 1 restaurant that covers the most, you have to go here. Very worth going! Located in residential San Isidro.Nice place!

We started with choclo a la huancaina and pisco sours. Delicious! The rest of the food was very good, even though I must say that the portions are far too big for Europeans. We went to the restaurant in surco which serves exactly the same food as the one in Magdalena.
