As a starter I had a tasteless Locro de Papa, since the chef forgot any salt. The main course, Llapingachos, was dripping of fat and not crispy at all. The chicken was grilled without any seasoning and far to fat. Never ever I had such a bad dinner!

We ate quite a bit in Ecuador and randomly went to Mama Clorinda's the last night. The food was very good...on par with the best we had in the country. Of course there weren't many locals there (they eat Ecuadorian food at home!).

The food was good and the servers were competent and very cheerful. It was a good experience all around and not expensive.

We haven't seen her, but had twice the opportunity to dine there. Very good traditional food, correct service. Loud group of American girls spoiled one evening: they left early enough to stay behind with very good feeling.
