A classic french restaurant which is understated elegance. In addition to seafood entrees, the kitchen also serves up mouth-watering steak and lamb specialities. Carlos Meyer, the chef and owner of Europeo, he puts all his energy into this constantly awarded and recognized restaurant, and it shows. The food is exquisite. If you are choosing a special night out(arn't they all!)... More

Europeo recently changed ownership and we were worried that the level of food and service might have dropped. We did not need to worry. The new owner trained under Chef Mayer for years and seems determined to keep up the good work and the reputation for this fantastic restaurant. The food is described as French, but don´t expect the classics,... More

This very contemporary restaurant has some of the best continental food in Santiago. We had a 5 course "tasting" menu WITH wine pairings for $80 per person. The quality of each dish was fantastic as were the wine pairings. The owner spent time with us and actually recognized us from our US reservation. The restaurant location is beautiful and in... More

Good food is central to my life and therefore too to my trips. For this reason our visit to Europeo was a big let down, especially at that price. Considered by local food critics as one the top Santiago restaurants, and Chef/owner Carlos something as Nº1 chef, based on my one visit, the food is not up to the standard... More

We were greeted by the owner and were lucky enough to be seated immediately. Our orders were impeccably taken and executed, appetizers (salads), main dishes (seafood), as well as desserts (fresh fruit) contained first class ingredients. Our special mention to the fruit used in the dessert, which was very nicely presented and had a flavor as we had not tasted... More

Terrific dining experience. Excellent staff, european with a South American twist. Charming chef came out to help us with the menu, as we struggled with our spanish and waiter with his english. They just wanted to please, and please they did.Food excellent, ingredients fresh ( many grown on Chef's farm) Best of the best, must try on any vacation looking... More

My husband and I ate dinner at Europeo (it was recommended by the concierge at our hotel). The restaurant is very attractive, and the service was attentive (although not warm). There's an excellent wine list, and we got to try some Chilean wine we can't get back home. The food was really good. If we went to Europeo again, we'd... More

The restaurant is in a very good location. After waiting at the waiting table for 5 minutes for the reserved table, we were seated. Sophisticated, but cosy place, with very charming atmosphere, good lighting (spots perfectly adjusted over each table). The surprise was the 600 to 1000-thread-count Egyptian cotton for table clothing and napkings. The service was very good with... More
