Good Japanese restaurant at station 3, with the view to the beach and sea. prices are average. the food is delicious.
So over the years I have given Nagisa a few tries only to be slightly dissapointed always. Growing up in Los Angeles Mexican & Japanese food were a staple of our diets so I believe I'm a decent judge of what is good & what is not. Unfortunatly Nagisa falls into the latter category.
We admire the restaurant and food for many years, it was excellent for good food, fair price and good service. But this year 2013 we eat lunch and dinner between february and july aprox 10 times and we noticed a important negative change and we hope that the owners mr asanuma take notice of it. First the good news the... More
Nagisa was very handy to my accommodation so I tried it. It was very reasonably priced and the free wifi worked on the beach which was a bonus. I went back to Nagisa's 3 times as they were also kind enough to let me use their beach chairs and would bring drink and food out to me. The service is... More
Showed up after lunch with 9 people and there was no issue seating us. Carefully explained all the choices to those in our group that had not eaten Japenese before. I had the Beef Katsu, it was really good, tasted the tempura, and again, really nice. Everyone enjoyed the experience and it was half the price of some of the... More
Had lunch here a few times, sandwiches are good and big. Then decided to have dinner, what a bummer. The chicken in the Chicken Teryaki was really fat so you could not eat 75% of it. The beef curry was 3 little pièces of beef. The beef bbq the same. Could nipt try te coffee as the machine was broken
We really felt like having japanese food this evening and after checking on trip advisor we found out that there isn't much choice of where to go. Since reviews of other japanese restaurant really turned us off we decided to go for Nagisa. So we walked down to Station 3 and started wondering if we missed it because the tourist... More
We just arrived to Boracay again and visited this nice and cozy place again. After 10 month it is still the same, beatiful japanese food in a very nice atmosphere and the staff are great. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it doesnt matter, it is GOOD.
We found Nagisa while desperately searching for a good cup of brewed coffee in S3 area. They have a real coffee bar - freshly ground beans, espresso machines, steamed milk. Ahhh... Even though we received breakfast at our hotel, we would eat there and then hop over to Nagisa for our coffee and chillout. They provide a newspaper so it's... More
great original Japanese food with among others plenty of Japanese clientele. I eat here more than once a month and i think they deserve a write up. Very friendly staff. Before you get seated they will tell you how many minutes you'll have to wait for your order to be served. Sometimes it gets full really. One order of Ebi... More
