We read a few reviews and decided to try this restaurant out, as a holiday treat! While it was definitely an expensive experience, I thought the food was beautifully executed. We ordered from the a la carte menu because we weren't particularly hungry. We tried the roast goose and suckling pig appetizers which were beautifully cooked, juicy and flavourful. The... More

Stunning Chinese decor, all-over-you service, 20-page wine list: all these cannot change the fact that the food is neither authentically chinese, nor tastes exceptionally good for non-Western palate. Very much a "chinese" restaurant conceived against the Michelin checklist, if you see my point. Visited on a busy evening after a non-stop telephone conference (restaurants close early in the neighborhood -... More

Everytime we are in Hongkong the Man Wah is our favorite place to enjoy high quality Cantonese food. This time we had an unbelievable cross (skin) and tender (meat) duck, followed by a special prepared whole Abalone (which had its price). The service was again very professionell and accommodating, the interieur warm and the night view terrific.

Loved the food here and the service was excellent. We had the set menu with matching wines. The only problem was that with he 4 different wines the food came out too fast and we were still drinking the red with the dessert. Food is served Western style on individual plates and does not just look pretty it tasted just... More

We had dinner twice during our stay. Excellent and friendly service, great food which I rate better than the 3 starred restaurant of the Four Seasons. What more is there to say: we will return definitely next time

Our first night in HK and we had just the most fantastic meal. Couple of dishes especially were stunning, wine was perfect, views were great, interior was lovely, and staff were just the best. Attentive, warm and friendly, but not too over-intrusive. Would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. A post dinner drink in the M bar afterwards tops... More

We don't expect it to be cheap on the top of the Mandarin with its harbour view and beautiful interior. We had a course meal, the smallest on, and it was enough for us, however - if you only get 1/3 of a mango for dessert, you expect it to be a really good one and mine was a bit... More

It is on the top floor of Mandarin Oriental with a full view of the Victoria Harbor. The interior design is classic and elegant. The darkwood ceiling, golden wall paintings, cloth/glass wooden partitions, heavy furniture with well crafted table plants have combined to create a nice traditional setting without extravagance. There is sufficient space among tables which provides people with... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Man Wah, where the food was great and the service excellent. The setting is also very nice with fantastic views.

Walking in off the street drenched in perspiration having just flown for 12 hours probably wasn't the best way to start lunch. After a little bit of discussion a table was found for us and in we went. The dining room is elegantly appointed and the views are magnificent. The service couldn't be faulted - it was attentive and helpful... More
