Having had lunch and dinner at Bush gardens several times during my stay on lamu, my favorite two dishes were fish kabobs and ginger crab and if your lucky the owner will entertain you with some of his cleaver stories, where they "fact or fiction" I'm not sure.

I have been there several ocassions. its near the lamu seafront with well lit candles in the evening. your are alwaiz tempted to go in for a drink/ meal because of its lively look from outside. i loved their pilau. A well blended fresh mango juice was fantastic. i would rate it average compared to others. keep up.

The chicken dish is delish, the flavoring is wonderful so tender and satisfying ! Ask for it again and again. To drink have the local grout drink made from mabungo or mango and ginger mix

Our favourite restaurant on Lamu. The fish is great (ask for extra garlic sauce!) and the juices and shakes are amazing. The best coconut shake on the island!

A nice thatched patio overlooking the jetty....food is reasonable if not exciting

Just the real tasty charcoal grilled seafood. Bring your own bottle of white wine and enjoy barbecued lobster, crab, fish fresh from the sea. Seafood platter is great value for money.

The place looks nice from outside and when you do your evening promenade along the seafront on Lamu, you are very tempted to go in. The tables are candle lit, the atmosphere seems lively, always quite busy with tourists and accompanying them locals.
