We eat here every time we go to see the pyramids. We've traveled all over the Middle East and I have to say I love these felafels the most. Love the take-out too, and not at tourist prices!

3 years ago we spend a very nice evening in this restaurant. This year in April I stayed there with my family, it was kind of boring. The food was ok, but they don´t serve Stella anymore. I´m no alcoholic, but I think it´s some kind of weird religious reason - IN A TOURISTIC RESTAURANT?? One more reason to think...

Traditional Egyptian fayre served in a beautiful restaurant at a reasonable price with attentive waiting staff. What more do you want?!
We visited Felfela after a long morning traipsing around the pyramids. We had shawermas and falafel sandwiches and they were delicious and SO cheap! The falafel sandwiches were really a highlight and the food was much nicer than at other Felfela branches I've tried around Cairo.
We visited this eatery while travelling to Egypt to see pyramids in December. It is conveniently located opposite to the Pyramid of Khufu and the views from outside the eatery are breathtaking. They had lot of variety in kebabs, felafil, beans etc. Me & My wife ate the chicken shwarma sandwich, falafil sandwich and beans sandwich. All of them were...

My husband and I stayed at the Le Meridien hotel and were lucky enough to have Felfela take-away restaurant right on our doorstep, which we visited every day, as we couldn’t get enough of it. I’m vegetarian, and was in heaven with their different scrumptious falafel and fava bean ‘sandwiches’ and baba ganousch. And it was all so cheap!
I actually went to the takeaway Felfela on Alexandria Desert Road in Giza. Meals are really cheap and of great quality, especially the falafel in pita. Order two as one is not enough.
Ordering can be a bit confusing as you're given tickets and are directed to either the left or right of the cash register. It seems like vegetarian...

This is a great alternative to a sit down expensive hotel meal. Food is super good and charming. You can eat fast and cheap on the street exposure or inside for a bit more with lots of ambiance. This is an excellent choice for vegetarian as well as meat eater meals.
We got carry out and it was goodvegyptian fare. The falafel sandwich was tasty. Food is safe to eat, no worries. Inexpensive. If you have a guide, ask them to buy, as they get Egyptian prices.
i think not only the food but the location and when you share the resturant with so many locals that adds another taste ...... the only unhappy thing is that the price can be a bit too expensive when you eat inside , but still perfect place when you are on a tour in cairo and want to eat some...
