Bogota Beer Company is definitely a bit of a tourist trap. The beers are more expensive than the other bars in Bogota, but they had lots of great local beers and it was a fun place for an afternoon beer.

This is a Colombian microbrewery that makes their own beer. They do a good job. I enjoy their porter and their amber beer. Not a big fan of La Candelaria beer though. Kinda sucks in my opinion. the food s pretty standard pub fair. most of the menu is fried. but they make a good pint. many locations is the city, some have outside seating. if you are a beer drinking, and tired of the typical Colombian lager, come to the BBC.

Good ambience, but why would you go to bogota and feel that you are in Ireland or Scotland. Probably the locals might want that, but as a globe trotter you want the local experience
