We really enjoyed eating here, as it was actually inside of the suuq. The made a delicious kubbeh soup!

Slow-food fresh (never frozen) authentic Iraqi & Kurdish meals.
Although located in a hidden place inside the open market = worth to stand in line (runs fast) to have a seat
Tip No.2: if you are more than one – each of you will ask for another dish (be early to have all 3 kinds of stuffed) and exchange on...

Most memorable food in years. Family run canteen in Mahane Yehuda serving exquisite slow-cooked Iraqi/Turkish/Kurdish Jewish meals. Lunch only- they start running out of stuff about 2:30pm and are pretty much done by 430-5. I am still thinking about the aubergine stuffed with some kind of cinnamon beef and pine nuts, dumpling soup, wonderfully fragrant meatballs, and the only hummus...

If you wanna get fresh (i think iraqi) food in the market for fair (low for israel) prices, this is the place to be. Nice local dishes, market atmosphere, and service accordingly! I'll be back!
I was assured by my friends that this was a must-try place for lunch in the Shuk Mahane Yehuda. We asked several people how to get there, and after wrong-turns and some problems with our Hebrew, we finally turned into an alley and ascended a flight of stairs to reach a courtyard where Azura is located. There is outdoor seating...

This restaurant is small and not that easy to find but the Hummus is great and so are the other dishes. Soup was good but would have preferred it to be thicker. Service is quick. Overall a good and hearty place for lunch that is not expensive
This restaurant was so good we went back twice in three days! It is tucked away in a corner—watch the old men playing sheshbesh while you wait for a table. The kubbe was excellent!
As others have said, this restaurant is worth the hunt out behind the Iraqi section of the market. It has some of the best soups and stewed meats around. Though not specially a Hummus restaurant, it's Hummus and other salads are very good as well. Two of our party were vegetarians and they really enjoyed the vegetarian stuffed peppers. It...

We came to visit Ben Yehuda market place. We herd that there are some nice restaurants. We found a long line of people waiting to get in. After we entered the restaurant, the service was quick and we got our dishes pretty fast. The food was simple but great, tasted like home cooking.
