Ken and Earl are very welcoming, coffee is great, so too the desserts! Superb place to chill out after a day spent in Sultanahmet.

I went to Denizen coffee twice during my stay ... it's very easy to find and well located ... i wanted some place where i can write..
I liked the the feel of the place ... it reminded me of home ... i tried two of their drinks: hot chocolate which was average and Chai Masala which i liked but...

We really strive to make Denizen a safe, comfortable, relaxed respite from the hustle and bustle of Sultanahmet. We try to make everyone feel welcome and I am very sorry to hear we did not make you feel more welcome.
Sorry too, that you found our Chai Latte too sweet. We brew our own and tested many recipes to get...

It has a nice selection of desserts (more American style than Turkish) all of them very delicious. They serve Italian and Turkish coffee styles, both of those types taste great (we tested cappuccino and Turkish coffee).
More over it has a free WiFi which doesn't happen very often in Istanbul.
As for the prices they are average so one doesn't...

Popped into Denizen after a long day sight seeing.
Coffee is very tasty, but the Hot Choc was super yummy.
Nice art work hanging on the wall showing different aspects of Istanbul.
The cafe was nice and quiet when we were there, which was appreciated after a busy day, but it did seem to be only populated by middle aged...

I stumbled onto Denizen Coffee my last few days in Istanbul - it was right near my hotel. In all honesty I was feeling a little homesick so one of the things I liked about this place is that they seemed to have authentic local choices in terms of coffee and food but they also had something about it that...

I came across Denizen coffee completely randomly while trying to get away from the touristic craziness that Sultanahmet area is. I tried a few restaurants in the area, and DC offers the best quality in terms of food, while being...

We stopped by after a long morning walking around the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try the cheesecake! It is lovely!
Coffee was very good and had a chat with the owners. staff was helpful and friendly. Get the Turkish Kahve and if you like Brew coffee they have there own blend. we sat outside and enjoyed people watching. if you visit here make sure to walk to the end of the street for an amazing view.
Had a great latte and wonderful service for my family which includes a two year old - colouring books to keep her busy while I enjoyed my drink. Felt like a nice homey space to have a break.
I can't tell you what a treat it was to be referred to Denizen coffee. It is just a block past the Hippodrome heading towards the sea ( it is on the same side as the Islamic museum). Earl and Ken are the heart and soul of the place and you really feel the welcome. There is a postive energy...
