For a restaurant located on a tourist street the prices were very reasonable. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. We ordered two dishes and were given a basket of bread and dip to eat while we waited for the food. Sit outside for a nice view of the street.

Many of the restaurants on this tourist street serve mediocre food at high prices. Rumist stood out for serving a great meal. Try the mixed kebab plate and some apple tea. The clay pots are also fun. Stopped here for a lunchtime snack, had a variety of the topped pide breads which were all very tasty. One thing we hadn't realised was no alcohol, but we managed to survive.

I sought out cafe rumist based on its tripadvisor ratings. Look for the green awning on the corner as the name isn't that prominently displayed.
