Even after one visit I can say: this will become one of our favourite dinner places in SEA! I'm glad I've found this place with a lot of vegan choices (they even have vegan ice cream/sorbet)!
Not knowing that Friends Cafe is closed on Mondays, the security guard there presented us with the card for K'nyay. Apparently the two are somehow related to the same organization that trains marginalized young people hospitality skills. The card was nicely designed so we took a chance. Our tuk tuk driver followed the guard's directions and we were there in...

We had lunch here with our family. We ordered a few dishes to share, mostly varying in price between US$2-5. Overall very tasty. The restaurant serves lots of vegan / non-meat options, but meat is served (agree that dishes with meat don't contain lots of meat, mostly veggies, still tasty though). Quiet place off the main street, away from the...

I failed to find it by walk. Then I turned to a tuk tuk driver. It turns out he didn't know that place either. It took us a lot of detours and nearly 20 min to find that well hidden place. The restaurant was empty in a Friday evening. I arrived at around 6pm and there was no customer there,...

My Cambodian wife ordered for us. She ordered a ginger tea and a mint tea, instead we got some other kind of drink. She ordered it all in Cambodia and the Cambodian waiter wrote it all down, yet such a mistake occurred.
Also, our dished had only a few small pieces of mean in them.
Additionally, their staff were inclined...

We ate late at night. The food was okay; nothing special to write home about. Unfortunately the area just outside of the restaurant was infested with roaches. Literally saw/ran from at least 10 on our way out.
We came here after a dispiriting visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. As you enter the restaurant, you leave the glare and noise of the street for comfortable chairs, welcome fans and quiet. The staff brought us a pitcher of chilled water to start, a touch we really appreciate. In addition, we ordered a watermelon chili juice and...

We had dinner in this restaurant two weeks ago when we stayed at a nearby hotel. We choose this restaurant because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant offers a nice colonial atmosphere but the food is nothing special. The fresh and fried spring rolls we chose for starter were very basic. The curry’s were fine but we missed...

My wife is a vegetarian and we have been looking for good places that both of us would like. This place hit the spot and is the first place in Phnom Penh we both want to go back to.
I had the tasty green curry with pork and my wife had a lovely banana curry--that I also wanted myself after...
