If you are not staying near that area, then it is not worthy as it will take lot of time to locate this place. We had to walk for 20 mins & ask atleast 10 times to get to this one, it is located in backpackers area. The restaurant is small, seating is not that great. Food & service is... More

Baba's Kitchen is a must whenever i visited HCMC. The food is great and very tasty. Very reasonable price. Staff are all very attentive with efficient service. Though it's located in the backpackers/tourist area, it's still comfortable to dine here. The restaurant is quite clean with simple Indian style decor. Tip: Spicy food can be very very spicy even if... More

I've been to Baba's Ktichen many times, and highly recommend it. The food is great (I enjoy the channa masala especially), very reasonably price and the staff is very attentive. Highly recommended for anybody visiting Saigon - don't let the location in the backpacker ghetto put you off, this restaurant is excellent. Tip: When asked if you want spicy or... More

It is located in the backpackers / tourist area of HCM. Now quite a lot of places there are tourist traps and not really worth the money. Baba's kitchen on the other hand is a really nice place, especially when you manage to sit on the balcony with a nice view down the busy street (given it is not too... More

Excellent food (the Hyderabad chicken in particular), quick and friendly service, and sensible prices made this restaurant a pleasure to visit. Free cold water is topped up constantly throughout your meal, which is very handy, as the curries (if requested) can be very spicy!

Went here looking for a break from Vietnamese food. Located right in the backpacker area, easy to find. Service was pretty good, if a little slow. Atmosphere was ok, nice and clean. Price was ok, around $6-8 for for curry, rice and naan. Most importantly, the food was delicious, especially the naan.
