Stopped here for lunch one day - right in the old cathedral quarter. Great menu with western and Vietnamese dishes and good service. Would recommend!
I visit Moca Cafe which my guide map reccomends. The fruit drinks are around NZ$5 and nothing to write home about. It does have air conditioning though which is pleasant. Hmm, perhaps WiFi as well looking at the laptops on the few other occupied tables. Nothing memorable and wouldn't bother returning.
After reading all the glowing reviews, my husband and I went to the Moca Cafe, it was awful. My chicken in coconut milk clay pot was tasteless, greasy and generally dreadful. My husband had the chicken with some kind of cheese and 3 day old fries, really I hate giving bad reviews but I feel compelled to. Any of the... More
my wife and our friends stumbled upon Moca Café quite by chance after returning from a Ha Long bay cruise feeling very hungry and disappointed at the miserable bland food on board. Having walked around for almost an hour looking for somewhere reasonably priced we read the menu outside and immediately made the decision to sample their food. The young... More
I had the veggie sandwich which was toasted bread with a piece of tofu and a pile of greasy veg (mostly onions) on it and a few fries - room for improvement. It was ok but felt it was overpriced for what I got. The service was good though. It seems like its trying to be a western cafe and... More
Have eaten at Moca over many years always found the food and drinks ok not great but good it is more expensive than most so value is questionable but good location ,plenty of room, staff pretty good and friendly. Last 2 occasions not very busy but service was slow normally eat with a group when we are in town so 10-15... More
I can't vouch for the food here but the cocktails are amazing. So much so that my girlfriend and I were "chasing" the cocktail for the rest of our trip. Nowhere came close :-( Nice decor and friendly staff.
Bad quality of food and service, don't know why so many people like this restaurant. I never had the terrible ribs like this before, it's not value of money at all. I will never visit there again. There should be many Cafes in hanoi better than this one!!!!
The place has a great location, good design, and a big space. But their coffee is so-so, and they sell photocopied books written by c]living Vietnamese authors at the register. It's all wrong.
