Halia is expensive for Vietnam standards, but keep in mind if this restaurant was in any other country the prices would easily be two to three times more for such a high quality experience. We visited Halia on New Years Eve and were unaware that a set menu was in place for the evening. I was not too eager with... More

This is called Fine Dining. I think that means small portions, lots of silverware, very expensive wine pairings and complicated food without concern for balance. Look, great food can be on the sidewalk, or in a fancy room. This is just, as above, Annoying, pretentious but Expensive enough to impress your date. it's Singapore-run, and if you like Asian Five... I simply adore this restaurant! The ambiance is amazing. I'm pretty critical when it comes to customer service and I can say you won't be disappointed by the service staff there. Overall: an excellent restaurant to dine in. More

I love the ambience the most. Very classy and relaxed. The Soft shell crab is my most favourite. The staff are very professional too. I truly enjoyed my lunch here. More

Looked for nice atmosphere and were disappointed by the empty restaurant. Food was OK (to say the most) and overpriced ($70 per person for small dishes) Service very nice Not a place you have to see when coming to Vietnam! More

I lived in Hanoi for over 2 years and went to a lot of restaurants. This Halia is part of the singaporean chain and has a Singaporean chef. If you want to you can ask to meet him and you can see for yourself how clean the kitchen is. This restaurant is on the pacific place block which is shops,... More

Being a Singaporean and a fan of Halia which started back in our hometown,it's no question why we dined here while on a recent trip to Hanoi. Tucked in the exclusive courtyard of Pacific Place,it exudes tranquility and understated elegance. We were greeted by an enormous chandelier which dropped from its high ceiling. Had 1 for 1 cocktails at the ground... More
