We enjoyed a long, slow dinner with modern vietnamese and french cuisine. It was a delightful treat. The setting is in a beautiful old French colonial house. It is simply decorated and the focus is on the food. The service was very attentive and thorough. A definite recommendation. More

The business lunch is my preferred way to enjoy the amazing fusion of chef Didier Corlou's food at Verticale. This is the best food I have found in Hanoi and the downstairs spice shop is where I stock up on spices to take home. The nuoc mam salt is amazing, as is the five spices mix. More

The setting is quite beautiful and the food was pretty decent. I especially enjoyed the starters and the tamarind sorbet to cleanse our palate before the mains was awesome. Set lunch including glass of wine is VND 305,000 (US$15). Food bursts with perfectly blended flavors - the chef is a master. Service not at same high level as food, but doesn't matter because food is so good. The wine included in set lunch is nice too. More
