I loved this restaurant. It was my favourite place to eat in Vietnam. Vegetarian food was excellent. Huge range of delecious meals to choose from. Great price and lovely ambiance. Would definitely recommend to anyone

You pay for the atmosphere over the food. Decent, but we had higher expectations. Good vibe but I wouldn't rave home about it.

Overall good vege selection, food washed in bottle water as well, so no chance of stomach issues. Dont order the white wine by the glass though, better going for a cocktail.

We went to this restaurant after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were very disappointed with the food here. It is totally flavorless!! We ordered at least 4-5 different things but not one was good. They have tried to create a place where westerners will get a taste of all of Asia and lots of choices for western food as... More

Do Not Use the Tamarind Travel Agent! This review has nothing to do with the restaurant, which has decent food (and great grog). We booked a pretty luxurious room for an overnight on the boat in Halong Bay. After being picked up 1/2 an hour late and taking the 4-hour bus ride from Hanoi, we were told just upon arriving... 4 of us went here for the Indian food, everyone found it delicious. Service was flawless and the atmosphere was perfect. Situated on the heart of the old quarter which is convenient. Thumbs up

A great restaurant in the lanes of the old town. Has an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu as well as a menu catering for omnivores. There is also an Indian menu but we did not try this as it was our first day in Hanoi and wanted to eat Vietnamese food. So we ate at lunch time the service was... More

this place is good for those people who do not want to walk in old quarter and see how many shops are available and how cheap they are, this place i found to be extra expensive and service wise it was not so great. Average ambiance and average quality of food but prices same like you are eating at the... More
