Went here for lunch on our first day in Hanoi and was a great meal. Our friends ordered the same (pork) bun cha and they got some crab rolls. They looked so good we ordered some too and they tasted like fresh crab - yum! The food was really good, it was just disappointing it was so expensive! 55000 vnd... More

Very good Bun Cha there, though a bit pricy for vietnam... Also you don't have other choice than Bun Cha since it is a specialized restaurant, but at least it is very good and with generous portions. Could have given some bean sprouts with the herbs and salad.. More

Food wise it was great, i loved the combination of the meat, vinegar sauce, rice noodle, and veggies, writing this makes me wanting to go back there and eat bun cha again. Dont expect nice service though, staffs were rude and unattentive. More

My favorite street food place for over a decade. Yes, it's crowded and also very hot (all 3 floors!) but hands down the best nem and bun cha in Hanoi. More

The best experience in eating authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The food is unbelievably good, it is a set menu and definitely value for money. Just watch the locals and you will enjoy a culinary delight. More

The manager at our hotel recommended Bun Cha. You're shown to a table - which you will probably share with locals - and the food just arrives. It's wholesome, tasty and cheap - a good choice if you want traditional Hanoi food. More

When you have typical street food sitting on a tiny plastic stool, you don't pay restaurant prices. The bun cha is good, like many other places, but this one is a tourist trap. Get the same bun cha somewhere else, at the right price (about one third of the price here). AVOID this one. More

The reviews here seem to be split between people giving 5 stars because they say bun cha is delicious (which is true) and people giving 2 or 3 stars because they say there are better places to have bun cha in Hanoi (which is also true). So yes - bun cha is a must-have dish in Hanoi. I lived in... More

We went near the end of the lunch rush (1:30pm, ahead of the 2:30 water puppet show...) so it was nearly cleared out, but the food was untouchable. Fresh rice 'bun' noodles, a heaping bowl of garlic and chilies, freshly cooked pork and beef, and a pile of fresh greens (mint/basil/lettuce). Mix it all together and you get our best... More
