Stumbled on to this one and then stumbled home. Had fun doing a few sundowners and some great traditional thai. Not fussy and amazing flavours. The sound of lapping water a bonus. Staff so friendly and entertaining.

We had one of the Menu options. 690BHT for a complete meal - not the cheapest on offer, but I have to say that everything we tried tasted fresh, and there was a lot of it. I had a lot of red curry while on Samui, and this was my hands down favourite. The mussaman was just as tasty. Sitting...

Spice Island is one of the restaurants in the Centara Grand hotel. We had two lovely meals there overlooking the beach. The portions were generous and the Thai menu delicious. I loved the prawn wanton starters! Highly recommended.

The food was goood and affordable, but the most special was the location and the atmosphere - great view (by the beach) and very quiet. Would absolutely recommend this if you would like to get out of the noisiest part of chaweng.
