The Roman owner keeps it authentic here - with delicious dishes, a good wine list and even a choice of grappa to end your meal. Angelo seemed to enjoy making our dinner special - and it was. We've been to Italy many times, and for the hours in this restaurant, happily felt we had returned. More

The food was very good. Yes, even exceptional. But, I am not an avid wine person so I would like to have seen a less expensive alternative to what is a very expensive but I am sure very good wine list. More

Fantastic value for money. I am italian, roman, know what I talk about. Spending winter in Chiang Mai, I don't miss my weekly visit to Piccola Roma. Home made pasta better than my grandmother used to make. For a fraction of what you would pay in Italy. If you want to save money, grab a fried rice at the market.... More

Great feel about this restaurant as soon as you enter. Before offering us the menu, the owner proudly displayed a trolley of ingredients, imported from Italy, which were available for us to choose. Our meal was as good as any we have eaten in Italy. This restaurant, for us, was a nice little find. More

The Italian food here is fabulous and has been for years. The portions are huge, one dish of pasta can feed four. The tiramisu is to die for. More

Excellent food with a wonderful chef who came to our table to offer us everything but the kitchen sink. Really wish we had time to return a second night to this superb Italian restaurant. Dined with my family - kids were treated like gold. Chef made something special for my young son, brought out seconds, and then didn't even charge... More

This is the second time I have eaten here and as I recalled an average experience the last time I visited , about 5 years ago, I wondered if I was going to get a repeat. I needn't have worried - with the guests of the high-end Chedi Hotel now across the road, a captive audience, the restaurant seems to... More
