I was taken to this restaurant as a birthday surprise. It's a beautiful restaurant, delicious food, great service, wonderful views and a lovely atmosphere. The set price lunch is really quite reasonable. More

We had a business lunch at Le Normandie last week and it was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish the service and food was outstanding. Add the view to it all and you've really got a dining experience that is hard to match. If one looks at the set menu there is no question this is excellent value. I'll... More

This is the best French restaurant in town! Plus, the view of the famed Chao Phya River at lunch or dinner time will relax anyone who eats here. The dessert is SUPER. More

Really good food, what lets this place down, and its a shame is they are too wrapped up in trying too hard that they come accross rude, I was told to wear a tie, like the world is going to come to an end if i didnt have one on. Service is good, but was not made to feel comfortable,... More

Good courteous service. Great value for lunch. I went with two business colleagues, and it was their first time to the Oriental. Service was excellent (as good as it has always been for the past 7 years I have visited). Excellent for lunch. Wine list very expensive though (top wines and top thai taxes). Great view of the river. Dinner... More

Le Normandie restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental has a well-deserved high reputation for its French cuisine. The lunch menu at 1050 Baht is a complete bargain, although wine is expensive. Generally the food is excellent and well-executed, as one would expect. Their website states that the restaurant is open from 12.00 - 1430 - but beware: the kitchen closes promptly... More
