It's a place for hanging out with friends and get some beer, watching sports... Food was average and expensive for what u pay for. Don't even try to order Thai food here. It's not the place for Thai dishes even they have shown in the menu. English dishes were better.... More

This is a highly competitive part of town for a pub-styled place. The nearby Londoner brews its own beer, the long-established Dubliner across the street is very popular (though there are reports they may move with the rumoured impending changes to Washington Square), plus many other pubs and bars in the near vicinity. But the Robin Hood seems to do... More

We visited early Saturday afternoon. The staff seemed very disinterested and were not friendly. The food was disappointing and my meat pie was too salty. I have been to this pub many times before but will give it a miss for a while. Getting a bill was like pulling teeth and solidified our opinion of the service. More

As recommended by my Irish ex pat buddy Gerry, this is the place where, as of about a year ago, I now call my HQ in Bangkok. Why? Well, it's easy to get to on the BTS and the main drag of Sukhumvit Road by taxi, and is well away from the fleshpots, and I like the atmosphere and the... More

People go mainly for the sports on big screens but actually the food is quite good - for pub grub. The best is the latest Sunday Carvery which is very popular. More

needed a decent pint whilst in bangkok and had been advised to try the robin hood pub. I was warned not to try the food though but after a few ales I needed a bite to eat. Having my friend's warning ringing in my ears I though that Pizza was a fairly safe bet. How wrong could a man be?... More

Probably for a Farang on vacations could be a good place, but not for an expat living in Bangkok. Food is overpriced and not very good. Sevice is friendly. More

Great location on Sukhumvit Road at Soi 33; Great atmosphere; Great service from the very pleasant and smiling young ladies; Excellent beers on tap, including Guinness; Disgusting ribs from an ancient pig that they deigned to call "baby-back" that were 9" long and grey and had a red sauce whose ingredients were unidentifiable. (I'm from Texas and know baby-backs when... More

Typical Irish pub near BTS Phrom Phong. Two floors, brown decor, good atmosphere, lots of newspapers, sports on big screens and pool table upstairs. So far so good, but then we got to the food. The nachos were burnt, the Greek salad was too oily (great feta though), the spare ribs were dry, the coleslaw was made with too much... More
