Arriving by boat to the Mandarin Oriental ferry was probably the most exciting part of this experience. We were looking forward to vast spreads of seafood but unfortunately found the selection to be somewhat lacking. We arrived about 30 minutes after the start of the lunch session and there were no oysters, despite asking several times, none were brought out... More

Other than the Normandy Grill this room has the best river view, and the food are great also especially for Sashimi, which is not expected in a Western seafood restaurant. More

After reading and hearing all the fantastic reviews, we came with high expectations but left feeling a little disappointed. Although some of the dishes were nice, there was not as much variety as expected and the mini lobster (at least i think that's what it was) and large prawns were not replenished; being popular item they were gone quite quickly.... One of my favorites for the past 20 years, the finest and freshest seafood and fish are used in very creative ways. Views over the river are stunning and the service is outstanding. More

Lord jims located in the Oriental hotel Elegant fine dining restaurant worth a trip Recommended for entertaining or business dinners, 4 diners, steaks and wine will cost around 20,000+ Lovely comfortable seating, non intrusive service, you will see a lot of hi so Thai people and business people. Not recommended for value hunters great place to splurge occasionally More

Fantastic table with a view of the river, which to be fair we did request when booking by email a number of weeks in advance. All the food was excellent quality, service was brilliant and there were lots of little extras – amuse bouche, breads, sorbet and petit fours. Good atmosphere too. Would highly recommend. More

A couple of years ago I went to this fantastic restaurant. I really enjoyed everything whatsover, such as the excellent taste decorating the place, an extrordinary seafood buffet and the mouthwatering sushi platter they offer. My favourite spot is near the windows where you can have a beautiful scenery of the river. More

Rerservations are a must...remember to request a window table to enjoy the great view of the river, particularly at night with the perfectly illuminated hotel landscape on both river banks. More
