The buffet of the Oriental Riverside Terrace is one of the best that I have ever experienced. We have dined there a few years ago already and have now gone back for a special evening. And it is still as great as it was back then. The food is exquisit, the service impeccable and the athmosphere just stunning. There is... More

I am a firm believer that home made - grandma style recepies are the best when it comes to cakes. At the same time I am in awe how amazing the sweets are the the Mandarin Oriental. Feel free to pick with your eyes closed as everything is superb (and belive me I have tried them all) The best of... More

We were not overly excited about their dinner buffet. It was just ok, not fantastic, like we expected. More

Stayed here many moons ago and have eaten in various restaurants around the hotel over the years. The hotel itself is very over-rated and I was disappointed when I stayed. The buffets are good but again expensive and the drinks astronomical. More

I come since many years to the Barbecue Dinner at the Oriental Terrace. Some years ago I also stayed there but in between I prefer the Peninsula because of the better value for money there and better rooms. Even when staying in the Peninsula I always liked the Barbecue in the Oriental. Its not cheap (THB 2.300 +17% = about... More

For all those who love to read and have a thing for the colonial era this is a must do - high tea at the Oriental and a visit to the rooms that were home to some of the finest writers in the English language. Inspiring. More

I liked everything to do with hotel. Go and see for yourself, the hotel deserves all the awards it gets. 950 + reviewers cannot all be wrong. More

Drips with history and class...almost a major tourist sight rather than an award winning hotel. More
