Nice atmosphere with very good food and service. We went without reservations at 8:30 on a Saturday night and were lucky to be accommodated. It was full the entire time we were there and appears to be popular with locals. More

Gianni Ristorante has a loyal and regular Thai and foreign clientele. The menu is varied and the food delicious, sometimes with the look and taste of home cooking, which I call 'comfort food.' Free parking right at the front door is a great benefit. Look around when you're there and you'll see how familiar diners are with the friendly, largely... More

Didn't expect much from an Italian restaurant in Bangkok, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service could not have been better. More

Had a lovely evening at this restuarant. The food was very good, the service was excellent. Really nice ambience & the restuarant was full. Certainly one of my favorites in Bangkok. More

We arrived in jeans with no reservations and were given a table immidiately. Staff were exceptional - this is only the second restaurant I have been to in Thaialnd where the staff actually sweep the table after the main course. Menu had some very nice choices. I had a tasty vegetable soup and ravioli that was perfectly cooked and spiced.... More

Our first time to this place. Mushroom risotto to start was OK, not good or great, just OK. The lamb was way overcooked – grey dry meat – even though medium was ordered, Interesting note is the Chef himself passed by and agreed that yes, the lamb looked overcooked – no apology, nothing, just agreed ! My food was so... More

There must be over 250 Italian restaurants in Greater Bangkok. Some of the poorest of them reside within large international hotels. Gianni is located all by himself. He must survive based on his restaurant. It is a nice formal restaurant for those people operating with an expense account. It just isn't completely Italian. It is more Euro-international....if that is what... More
