Cha For Tea's speciality is tea-based cuisine, from tempura tea leaves as a snack to tea oil flavoured noodles. All of it is very tasty and there are reasonable veggie options.

We went here for lunch. Food was good (I had green tea chicken and the lycee mousse). It was a nice experience, but we found the price was high. You can eat just as well or better all over Taipei. Service was slow.

I was in Taiwan for work and wanted to experience a entire meal that uses some Tea. Cha for Tea was a suggestion of a colleague who lives in Taiwan. Pros: - Its busy, still the servers were very attentive - The food is great. It is beautiful looking and very nicely served. - The service was quick - Vegetarian... More

We like Cha for Tea for many reasons. First, the decoration is classical Chinese, filled with beautiful pieces of Chinese calligraphy. Second, there are a variety of tea, hot and cold. The bubble tea is particularly good, better than many other shops. Third, the dimsum is delicious. Their food is very clean and healthy. Fourth, the service is usually very... More

There was a super long que when I spotted this stall. Hence I didnt went to buy straight away, shop around the mall beside first and when i came out the que is cleared. But after I order and was waiting for my drink, long que starts again. Tried the Green Milk Tea with ice-cream. Yumms! Not too sweet and... More

I went to this restaurant with a trusted local friend and our business associates. The main dining area was pleasantly lit and tastefully decorated with tea items and artifacts. Our group however sat in a private room which was not as interestingly decorated. Our local host explained, "Everything on the menu is made from tea or uses tea as an... More

Early in our stay in Taipei we simply couldn't get a grip on the restaurants. It's really hard to find an English menu and many of the places just didn't look very friendly to a Westerner's sensitive guts. Desperately walking the streets one day we stumbled into the Cha For Tea in the Tea Culture Institute building at 62-64 Henyang... More

I was visiting family in Taiwan. My cousin introduced us to Cha for Tea. I must say, it was my favorite place we ate on my whole trip. The menu has items you can select tea, soup/starter meal, main course (from meat to vegetarian), then dessert. It was a bit overwhelming but I loved every bit of it. I need... More
