“Best coffee in Kathmandu”

With a board saying 'Tired of Nescafe?' outside, Chikusa offers freshly ground Nepali coffee to its patrons. I've been there quite alot, and with yummy hot sandwiches, great crepes, and the best blend of black coffee, chikusa does it for me. Also there's free wi-fi. More

This little place doesn't look like much from the outside and the seating inside is pretty basic too. However, the food is super and all very reasonably priced. They offer a mix of western, local and Japanese food. We sampled breakfasts at quite a few restaurants in and around Thamel and this was by far the best option for breakfast.... More
