Despite of the somewhat "Posh" interior and the poor Ugandan ladies in Indian outfits, its a great restaurant. Try the Dhal Makhani, the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Tandories and the Nan breads they are all fantastic.

From the moment you walk in, you are taken into a different world. The service is excellent, the staff are all in an Indian uniform, the layout of the restaurant is unusual with inner courtyard. this photo does not do it justice.

I have never been to India but I have had Indian food from all over the city and by far this is one of my favorites. It's not because the food is better than anyone else but because I know when I order the same thing over and over it will taste the same and I love consistency good food...

Khana Khazana is good for special occasions, if you want to go dine out in a posh place. The ambient is beautiful with great service and delicious food. However, I think it's overrated and prefer other Indian restaurants in Kampala.

Moderately weird atmosphere (very overstaffed with Ugandans in full Indian garb...). BUT outrageously delicious food.

What distinguishes KK from the other Indian place in Kampala.
1. Nice out of town but near town Kololo location.
2. Waiters in fancy dress
3. Inside-outside feel to the dining (wait, Kyber Pass in Speke also has that but very limited)
