“Rather peculiar place with great food”

The place itself is rather odd, good for lunch, not suitable for a dinner party. Service is terrible, the Krishna people are lovely, but it's the local staff which can't be bothered to serve you. Food is really good and cheap. I used to eat there daily when staying nearby and would go back again. Especially great for vegetarians. More

But it's not. The food is prepared according to Hare Krishna dietary rules, which means no onions, garlic, spices, etc. So if you want Indian-ish food without any of the things that make Indian food delicious, then this place may be for you. It's a cheap place, and when I visited, one of the practitioners sitting nearby was continually coughing.... More

“Go and enjoy their brunch on a lazy Sunday”

This place is great for vegetarians (and for Hare Krishna devotees), and it is not expensive at all. My favourite is the lunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, a wide choice of dishes and all you can eat. Perfect for a lazy Sunday! More
