Zambi has been a landmark for a long period in Maputo. It's almost like a historic restaurant.
Nowadays the food is quite amazing and the service is great.
The seafood is quite fresh and the calamari are probably the best I ever tasted in town. I don't like the way they fry the chips at Zambi (I am more fond...

Excellent fresh seafood, especially the steamed crab and langoustine tails are absolutely out of this world. Creative, well presented, fantastic combinations of tastes. Can't leave Mozambique without having eaten there! Perfect both for lunch and for dinner. Great service. You pay the price, but it's very much worth it.
Fantastic food in a lovely hotel. Large inside, and a large patio outside when its warm enough. Real breathe of fresh air. Great fish and one of few places that serves it steamed! The down side is all the drinkers and rubbish on the street outside but not much the restaurant can do about that.
Prawns were good, not great. Excellent portion size. Some dishes were quite pricey. No wifi available at the time. Overall, a lovely place that I would visit again.
Delicious clams with fresh garlic bread. Perfect combination for a Saturday sunset evening at Zambi. I do recommend to try other seafood dishes and the deserts. Good wine is also available. Note, is not a everyday restaurant type, but very good for the day(s) you will be there. Excellent to be either with family and/or friends.
Quality, service and price wise a very good experience. The steamed crab was simply the best, fresh fish dishes and prawn curry fantastic. It's very hard to find good places in maputo in terms of quality, service and price wise. This one therefore we will visit again when we are over there !
A must resturant to visit while in Maputo. Beautiful food and excellent service, a nice change from the plastic chair taverna style resturants around the city. We could have been eating in a world class resturant in Europe. Not cheap but worth every cent
Went there last year and found the quality and service not as good. Also told new orders so may take time to settle in Coming back in a few weeks time so prepared to give it a retry
This restaurant is well rated on trip advisor so when we were in Maputo we thought we would check it out. We had lunch here and although it was expensive(by Africian standards) the food was well presented and tasty. The staff were professional and the service excellent. The venue itself is one street off the waterfront and we sat outside...
