My brother in law and I took our wives to Pepe Nero for a Mother's Day dinner, having found it through TA. Everything about it was wonderful-- the food the setting and the service. We were at the end of our 2+ week stay in Morocco and our wives were craving Italian food, while the men wanted one last opportunity... More

I am not surprised that this restaurant has so many superb reviews. The building is gorgeous, the staff both attentive and friendly and the food very tasty. Two super meals there during our stay. You do need to book though but worth it.

Complimentary glass of Champagne, really exquisite food, large portions and top quality service from a smiling waiter, a fair price in the most romantic setting I have ever been... What can I ask more from a restaurant?

Back to Pepe Nero after more than a year, we had once more such a good dinner that we went back a second night of our weekend in Marrakech. We chose this time dishes from both menus, Moroccan and Italian, with equal satisfaction. With the roast lamb, deserve special mention, the guinea-fowl ravioli ... a real delicacy and the tuna... Was expecting much more as it was rated No, 2 on trip advisor! Not much more to say about the place, Surroundings where very nice, service was very good, but the food was very confusing and yes I knew it was meant to be Italian orientated, BUT ! I just didn’t get it. I went with two other couples and... More

Just had the slow roasted lamb rack, sea bass and a good but inexpensive bottle of italian wine - very delicious! Impeccable service, lots of extras that came before and after. Phantastic experience in the heart of Marrakesh. A minor point to mention was the strange music they play from bad speakers in the wall. Apart from that: worth every... More

In the middle of the medina, in a real alley is the very nice restaurant behind a door you would not expect! The dinner, after a glass of prosecco and amuse of the house is really good! We had ordered the harira soup, chef's salad and homemade pecorino chicken ravioli with parmesan. Delicious! Ratio food price is ok, but for... More

Eat here food and service and ambience perfect! Even catered for a fussy vegan! The staff even gave us a big serving of their bread to take away!

We dined at this restaurant three nights and can not find fault. The staff are extremely polite and efficient. The food is very good quality and of a high standard. The theme is Italian with Moroccan recipes also. Italian wines are available but we had a Moroccan Terre Rouges which was delicious and at 300 dirhams, very good value for... More

I was trying to find somewhere good to eat that didnt just have good food and so chose Pepenero. We did find it very hard, (down alleyways), to find so i would recommend a guide. Beware asking a local though as they tried to charge us a fortune. Inside is amazing. You could eat 'outside', which wasnt really outside, it... More
