I stayed at Blue Belize Guest House... which is a great place to stay.... but to add to it, Asha`s is a 2 minute walk away to great food & drinks, a priceless wind from the ocean, wonderful hospitality and an unforgettable atmosphere. I am going back tomorrow for there BBQ and live music !

Punta Gorda is a sleepy local town in southern Belize. The choices for dining is a bit limited. I just spent a week in the area and after 2 nights at other places, my group found Asha's. Asha's is down a narrow dirt ride at the far side of town, and it is more than water front, its over the... More

Asha makes his food with love! I had the garlic fish with rice and stew beans and some vegetables. It was excellent. Best meal I've had in Punta Gorda so far.

Nice location over the water with a unique menu that frequently changes. Food is delicious and prepared fresh to order. Great local ambience.

Make up your own plate from the list of mains and sides listed on the blackboard. Fresh fish, meats, veggies, plantains, etc. all cooked to order in well done local style. This part of the world has a delicious mix of culture and flavors, including the creole with some East Indian influences. I likes the coconut milk curry flavors in... More

Food is very good, particularly the barbecue chicken, lion fish, and plantains. Nice deck on the water so you can eat outside.

I followed the waterfront signs in Punta Gorda that led me to Asha's. Cool spot. I was there mid afternoon when the Kitchen isn't as lively. The food was great and service with a smile. I would go back in the evening for a little more culture! Seems to be a fun place.

We came here for a meal one night and the food was good, the place had a lot of "atmosphere potentlal" in that you could see that a few people in there with the set up, the seats on the balcony (indeed the whole place is actually on the sea) it would be very lively, but sadly there was only... Came here several times during my stay in PG. Some nights the food is better than others, but the atmosphere is always great. I appreciate Asha's commitment to sustainability, too (no plastic!). Try the lionfish-- it's good, and eating it is good for the reef (it's invasive).

This is the type of place that you feel like is the best kept secret, but actually everyone knows (and loves) it. It is right on the water (actually over the water) with an outside dock. My kids actually fished off of the dock (and caught 2 fish) while waiting for our amazing, authentic food. There is not a bad... More
