We went to Tutti Frutti every night while we were in Placencia. Simply Amazing! The best gelato I have ever tried.

This place has amazing flavors of gelato and they are all very tasty. The owner is Italian from Rome and you can tell because she and her husband serve up authentic gelato in the cute little shop. The great thing is you can get 3 flavors in a medium sized cup so you can try lots of flavors. It is...

My only complaint about Tutti Frutti is that they closed the second week we were in Placencia! Reasonable prices, great selection of flavors, and delicious! It is a great treat on a warm day! It's a easy walk from most anywhere in town, and everyone loves it.
I was quite excited to try Tutti Frutti based on the reviews but overall I was disappointed. The portions were small, the prices expensive and the flavours mediocre. We tried the peanut and pistachio – both were overly sweet and barely tasted of their namesakes.
Every time I visit Placencia my first stop after checking into the hotel is Tutti Frutti Ice Cream shop.
Their choice of favours is outstanding and the quality of their ice cream is excellent.

We stayed in Placencia for 5 days and we got gelato from this little place EVERY DAY. We never expected to stumble upon this place but it was perfect. Great staff and great gelato! (our trip was actually in Jan '09)
My husband and I stopped by Tutti Frutti one night for gelato after dinner. The prices are reasonable, there is a good selection of flavors and the gelato was very good. I wish we would have been ale to visit more than once during our trip.
Not sure what the fuss is about. Gelato OK-nice on a hot day. Portions are small and it is expensive.

Several of our group even made a point of trying every flavor, quite an undertaking as the inventory changed each night. Hazelnut was...

Tutti Frutti is one of the few dessert places in Placencia. It is very affordable and the flavors were delicious, but limited. Good to note that they do not accept credit/debit cards so you must have cash. Worth the trip. :)
