The last time I ate there is the last time I will eat there. It is located at the end of one. F the piers. Avila so the view is nice - or could be. The windows are clouded with salt water mist. The food left much to be desired. The staff was very unwelcoming .

Amazing service, fabulous atmosphere- did u know they have glass tables that look onto the water??? The soy wasabi glazed grilled salmon was TO DIE for. For non seafood people the filet was smokey and perfectly cooked. A must do. Fancy enough for a special occasion but not too fancy for a beach town.

While not inexpensive, the "no work" Chioppino is marvelous: shrimp, calamari, fish, and scallops in a tasty tomato, leek, and wine broth. If you go for lunch, you'll save a little compared to dinner prices. Served with hot sourdough rolls and butter and, should you chose, a glass of wine, you will savor every bite while gazing out the window... More

This place has awesome food. The food was very fresh. There were a lot of different selections on the menu to pick from. I would have to say the price of the food is not super expensive but it might be a place for some to eat as more of a special occasion rather than an every night out deal.... More

This restaurant is located on the end of the San Luis pier in Avila Beach. You actually need to drive past Avila Beach to the end of the road and continue past Fat Cats to the pier. As others point out, there are only a few parking spots at the end of the pier itself, but the walk is worth... More

We made reservations here on a Saturday evening based on the recommendation of a local friend, and our group of five had a very nice dinner experience. Avila Beach is tucked away between Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo, and the Old Port Inn feels frozen in time, a reminder of when the best seafood restaurants were located right where... More

If you can get a window table (call ahead) it is a fantastic view. The Seafood is fresh and well-prepared. There is limited parking on the pier itself, so you might have to walk.

This is set on the end of Hasford Pier in Avila Beach. You can watch sea lions play while you eat. Some tables have mirrors so that you can watch the water under the pier. The food is great, while pricey but worth the trip down the pier. Be warned there is very limited parking at the end of the... More

It had a beautiful view, but the blackened salmon tasted like gas. The chowder was the best thing we had. With two drinks, an appetizer, and a small dinner it was over $50. Not worth it...

Had Christmas eve there and loved our calamari and warm salad. What a combination. The rolls are to die for and the Butter Brickle Ice Cream Pie is worthy of sharing. Great fresh food.
